It was naive of me to think I could appreciate Iraqi culture. I observe it to understand it, but not to appreciate. It is more to understand who to kill and how to kill them. Hopefully w/that knowledge I know who not to kill. One thing I have learned is how easy it is to kill innocents and to confuse them w the insurgents/terrorists... when it comes down to it, it’s easier to pull the trigger first than to wait with the chance of not being able to pull the trigger.
